Sunday Morning Rugby VS Hornets

Sunday, October 30, 2011 - St. Louis, Mo. - Marquette Park

Cup Match - Sunday Morning and Hornets always seem to play a tough match. Not only are they playing a cup match but they also play for a traveling trophy (Dan and Mack Trophy) representing two active players who past away during the same season several years ago; Dan from the Hornets and Mack from SMRC. This trophy is played for and has a lot of meaning to both teams. ...And once again both sides would not disapoint with a well played match. SMRC at this point in the season is battling with several injuries to key players and having to ask replacement players to step up their play. The coaches were pleased with the performance of the replacement players and excpected them to keep improving as the season progressed. SMRC again were able to come out on top by controlling the ball for much of the match. Final SMRC 31 - Hornets 21. Photo: Game Day More photos here...
