Sunday Morning Rugby Club Argentina Tour 2010

Argentina

August 1, 2010 - Buenos Aires, Argentina

The Sunday Morning Rugby Club returns from its fifth world tour in ten years. Sunday Morning Rugby Club traveled to Argentina with nineteen players and friends spending 10 days traveling and exploring Buenos Aires, Argentina and the surrounding area. All had a great time in visiting Argentina! Three rugby matches were played against three separate Argentine Rugby Clubs. Sunday Morning Rugby Club posted its first international win on this exciting trip. We would like to give thanks to Centro Naval RC and VARBA for playing and hosting our team. We would like to give a special thank you to Monte Grande Rugby Club for a tremendous day including a rainy rugby match and a great evening of hosting. The truly gave us a grand Argentina welcome and a day and evening to remember. Buenos Aires boasts of over one hundred rugby teams and children learn to play rugby starting at the age of eight. So it was a great place to experience rugby!
